Mother's Day

We went to Nana and Papa's house for a little Mother's Day fiesta. This picture was harder to take than it looks. At least Nana is smiling.

LHM Race Track

A general contractor that I work with suggested that I take the kids to the race track to see his car and a little racing. With the help of Uncle Nate and Aunt Rachel, Ammon and Olivia joined me for half a day.

Our Little Moose

JJ was up every two hours throughout the entire night last night. In an effort to fill his little tummy so mommy can sleep, Lisa mixed sugar (she's desperate) with the cereal that he refuses to eat and BINGO -- He loves it. He ate three servings. We will keep you posted on the results tomorrow. Cross your fingers.

Happy Halloween

Here's some pictures of our little Fairy Princess and her brave Lion friend. We filled a whole pumpkin bucket to the top with candy. Now it's the showdown of who gets their favorite candy eaten before it's snatched up by others.

Livi's preschool had a parade up and down her teacher's street. Parents were invited to take the pictures. Isn't she a doll?

Tim Boyce Article

An article on Tim's organ donation was in the Salt Lake Tribune on October 16, 2006. It was the front-page article and included two inside pages too. It was a great article. His heart does indeed continue to beat and his presence is felt near us on a daily basis.

We miss him dearly. Many of Livi's prayers pray that we can see Uncle Tim soon. It pretty much brings tears to our eyes every time. There's still a lot of tender hearts around here. I don't imagine that will change for quite a long time. Here's the link: http://www.sltrib.com/search/ci_4496001 Hope you enjoy it.

We ran across this picture while we were looking for Livi's baby pictures. It was unexpected and hit us like a ton of bricks. I believe it's one of only a few pictures our family has with just Tim. We love you Tim!

Surprise Alaska Visit

Kelly had to go to Alaska to help with the tile and winterize the company boats. At Kyle's suggesting we all decided to go together. Only Fred knew the whole plan and it was a complete surprise to Grandma King that everyone came. We spent most of our time driving between Kenai and Anchorage to deliver the boats to storage. The other time we spent at the cabin putting things together and helping Chewy (Jose) and Carlos with the tile. The "cabin" will be Kelly's parent's retirement home once Fred finally decides to retire. The entire cabin has tile on the floors. Imagine that? The granite counters will come sometime in the spring. Even harder to believe?! We loved the time we got to spend there and it was a much needed break for everyone. We were able to visit most evenings with Kelly's cousin Dianne and her husband Doug with kids Kara, Josh & Trent. Here's a few pictures of us working and the beautiful Alaskan Arctic Fall.

Our Utah Fall Trip

Because of all the mountains around us were changing so quickly, we decided to take a little road trip in the gangster mobile. So we went from our home in Farmington, up Trapper's Loop to Snow Basin, then back down through Morgan, East Canyon and finally out Immigration Canyon. The fall leaves and scenery were just beautiful. It was a trip that all of us enjoyed.

JJ's Six Month Appointment

Our little boy isn't so little anymore. We went to the doctor and here's the stats:
27 1/4 Inches Tall (85th Percentile)
19 lbs. 15 oz. (75th Percentile)

He was a big boy and took five shots in the legs. He wasn't too happy but we're glad he's immunized.
