Surprise Alaska Visit

Kelly had to go to Alaska to help with the tile and winterize the company boats. At Kyle's suggesting we all decided to go together. Only Fred knew the whole plan and it was a complete surprise to Grandma King that everyone came. We spent most of our time driving between Kenai and Anchorage to deliver the boats to storage. The other time we spent at the cabin putting things together and helping Chewy (Jose) and Carlos with the tile. The "cabin" will be Kelly's parent's retirement home once Fred finally decides to retire. The entire cabin has tile on the floors. Imagine that? The granite counters will come sometime in the spring. Even harder to believe?! We loved the time we got to spend there and it was a much needed break for everyone. We were able to visit most evenings with Kelly's cousin Dianne and her husband Doug with kids Kara, Josh & Trent. Here's a few pictures of us working and the beautiful Alaskan Arctic Fall.
