Joseph John "JJ" King was born today, March 15, 2006 in Layton, UT weighing in at 7lbs. 14oz. He was exactly 1 month early which means he will stay in the hospital for a while so his lungs can develop. Kelly made it home from Alaska late last night. Lisa went into labor around 11 p.m. She spent the night taking baths and trying to relax but hte contractions kept going. Several times she woke Kelly up to say it was time...but he didn't believe her. Kelly told her to call the hospital and when they said to come in, he told her to call the doctor (after all, the hospital just wants mroe money..right?). The doctor called back and said to go in. Showing a little mercy, Lisa let Kelly sleep a little longer and then drug him out of bed. As the family left the garage to drive through the 5 inches of fresh snow on the ground, Kelly made a bet that everyone would be back home from the hospital by 7 a.m. Unfortunately, nature was taking its course and labor continued through the day.
